And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Lo! Thy Lord! He is the All-Wise Creator. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 (So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please). 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 about whatever they had been doing! 93 (O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. 94 Surely We suffice to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death). 99
