And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 On the contrary, We will write down what he says and prolong the length of his punishment. 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worship and shall become their adversaries instead. 82
