Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
