Do you not realize that We have sent Satan to incite the unbelievers to sin. 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 You have uttered a grievous thing 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
