And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Ask them: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 He knows both what is visible and what is not visible. Exalted is Allah above all that they associate with Him. 92
