Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
