Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
