The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
