Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe to those who pray 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 They who would be seen, 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
