When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 He said: My Lord! Lo! I fear that they will deny me, 12 "And my breast straitens, and my tongue expresses not well. So send for Harun (Aaron) (to come along with me). 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they shall slay me. 14 (It was) said: "By no means. Go with My signs, both of you. I am verily with you and I hear. 15 They came to the Pharaoh and said, "We are the Messengers of the Lord of the Universe. 16 ‘That you let the Descendants of Israel go with us.’” 17 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said [to Musa (Moses)]: "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you did dwell many years of your life with us. 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 Moses said, "I did do it and I made a mistake. 20 Then I ran away from you in fear, but my Lord granted me the law and has appointed me as a Messenger. 21 And this is the past favour wherewith thou reproachest me: that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel. 22 The Pharaoh asked: "And what is the Lord of all the worlds?" 23 Said Moosa, “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; if you believe.” 24 Said he to those about him, 'Do you not hear?' 25 He said, 'Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients.' 26 Said he: Most surely your Apostle who is sent to you is mad. 27 He said: Lord of the east and the west and whatsoever is in-between, if ye understand. 28 Pharaoh said, "If you take any deity other than myself, I will throw you into prison," 29 'What, even if I brought you something clear' said he (Moses). 30 Said he: Bring it then, if you are of the truthful ones. 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it was white unto the beholders. 33
