۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
