۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
