۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
