۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
