۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
