۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
