The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
