Then the people of Lot rejected the messengers. 160 Their brother Lot asked them, "Why do you not have fear of God? 161 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. 162 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 "Must you, of all people, [lustfully] approach men, 165 “And leave the wives your Lord has created for you? In fact you are people who exceed the limits.” 166 They said: If you desist not, O Lut! you shall surely be of those who are expelled. 167 He said, “I am disgusted with your works.” 168 'My Lord, save me and my people from that they are doing' 169 We saved him and all of his family 170 all but an old woman, who was among those that stayed behind; 171 then We destroyed the others, 172 And rained on them a shower (of Stones). How terrible was the rain (that fell) on those who had been warned! 173 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 175
