The companions of the thicket denied the messengers 176 Recall, when Shuayb said to them: "Have you no fear? 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ "Give full measure, and cause no loss (to others). 181 "And weigh with the true and straight balance. 182 And do not withhold from people what belongs to them, and do not corrupt the land; 183 Fear Him who created you and those who have gone before you." 184 They replied, "You are bewitched. 185 "You are but a human being like us and verily, we think that you are one of the liars! 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 He said: "My Lord is the Best Knower of what you do." 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
