Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! 69 (Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: 'It may be that part of what you seek to hasten on is already riding behind you' 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
