Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a Straight Way. 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
