Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
