Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On the Straight Path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
