Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
