And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
