We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
