We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
