And remember Our bondman Ayyub (Job); when he cried out* to his Lord, “The devil has struck me with hardship and pain.” (After seven years of patience.) 41 [and thereupon was told:] "Strike [the ground] with thy foot: here is cool water to wash with and to drink!" 42 We restored his family to him with others similar to them, as a blessing from Us and a reminder for men of wisdom. -- 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 And remember Our servants -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- they were endowed with great strength and vision. 45 Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality: the remembrance of the Abode. 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 And remember Isma'il and Al-Yas'a and Zul-kifl; all of the excellent ones. 48 This is a commemoration. Surely for those who take heed for themselves is an excellent place of return -- 49 #NAME? 50 Where they will take their ease, calling for fruits in plenty, and for wine, 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 This is for the virtuous; and indeed for the rebellious is a wretched destination. 55 hell will they have to endure - and how vile a resting-place! 56 Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- 57 And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say: 'Our Lord, give those who brought this upon us double the punishment of the Fire' 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 Have we taken them in mockery? Or, have our eyes swerved from them?' 63 Verily this is the very truth: the wrangling of the fellows of the Fire! 64
