And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We gave to him his family, and the like of them with them, as a mercy from us, and a reminder unto men possessed of minds; 43 And (it was said unto him): Take in thine hand a branch and smite therewith, and break not thine oath. Lo! We found him steadfast, how excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (to his Lord). 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 In Our sight they are among the chosen and excellent ones. 47 And call to mind Ishmael and Elisha, and every one who [like them] has pledged himself [unto Us]: for, each of them was of the truly good! 48 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink. 51 ۞ And with them will be virgins of refraining looks and of equal age. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 All of this; but, for the proud there is an ill return. 55 they will burn, in Hell, an evil resting place -- 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 Taste the scalding water, pus, and other putrid things". 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones? 62 Have we taken them in mockery? Or, have our eyes swerved from them?' 63 Verily, that is the very truth, the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire! 64
