Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
