۞ Tell them, (O Prophet): “My servants who have committed excesses against themselves, do not despair of Allah's Mercy. Surely Allah forgives all sins. He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 Hence, turn towards your Sustainer [alone] and surrender yourselves unto Him ere the suffering [of death and resurrection] comes upon you, for then you will not be succoured. 54 And follow the fairest of what has been sent down to you from your Lord, ere the chastisement comes upon you suddenly while you are unaware. 55 Turn to God in repentance before a soul says, "Woe to me because of my failure to fulfill my duties to God. Woe to me for mocking God's guidance!" 56 Or (so that no soul) may say, “If Allah had shown me the right path, I would then be among the pious!” 57 Or, he may say as he sees the punishment, "Would that I had a second chance, so that I could be among the doers of good." 58 But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers. 59 And you will see on the Day of Resurrection the fabricators of lies against Allah, with their faces blackened; is not the destination of the haughty in hell? 60 And Allah will rescue the pious, to their place of salvation; neither will the punishment touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 GOD is the Creator of all things, and He alone has the power to determine the fate of all things. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, such are they who will be the losers. 63
