Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 Saying “Taste it! Indeed you only are the most honourable, the dignified!” 49 Indeed, this is what you used to dispute." 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 As such, We shall wed them to wide eyed houris (the virgins of Paradise). 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
