Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 And the earth! We have spread it forth, and have cast therein firm mountains, and have caused to grow therein of every beauteous kind of plants: 7 An insight and an admonition for every bondman penitent. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 The folk of Noah denied (the truth) before them, and (so did) the dwellers at Ar-Rass and (the tribe of) Thamud, 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
