On the day when We say unto hell: Art thou filled? and it saith: Can there be more to come? 30 And the Garden will be brought nigh to the Righteous,- no more a thing distant. 31 (and they will be told), "This is what you were promised. It is for everyone who turned in repentance to God, kept his promise, 32 Who feared Ar-Rahman in secret, and came with a penitent heart: 33 so enter it in peace. This is the Day of everlasting life. 34 They will have whatever they wish therein, and with Us is more. 35 How many generations, stronger in might than they have We destroyed before them! They searched the land, could they find any asylum? 36 Surely, in this there is a Reminder for he who has a heart or listens attentively while witnessing. 37 And certainly We created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six periods and there touched Us not any fatigue. 38 So you bear with patience what they say, and sing the praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun and its setting, 39 And in the night-time hallow Him, and also after the prescribed prostration. 40 And listen on the Day when the Caller will call out from a place that is near - 41 The day when they shall hear the cry in truth; that is the day of coming forth. 42 It is We who give life, and make to die, and to Us is the homecoming. 43 That shall be the Day whereon the earth will be cleft from off them as they hasten forth. That shall be a gathering unto Us easy. 44 We know best what they say, and you are not one to compel them; therefore remind him by means of the Quran who fears My threat. 45

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
