And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
