We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
