So did you observe him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 and covered them with torment. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
