Prostration
< random >
Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
