Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
