▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
There are two gardens for one who fears standing before his Lord. 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 As though rubies and pearls. 58 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 In them are good and beautiful women - 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
