The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 – and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence – 2 Abasing exalting. 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So that they become dust seattered. 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 a host of the ancients 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 reclining on them facing each other; 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 and spreading shade 30 and flowing water 31 and fruits abounding 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And raised couches. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 So made them as maidens. 36 loving and of equal age. 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
