Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ The Resurrection Verifier; 1 What is the Reality? 2 And what will make thee realise what the Sure Reality is? 3 The Thamud and the Ad denied the (possibility of a) sudden calamity, calling it false. 4 So regarding the Thamud, they were destroyed by a terrible scream. 5 And the 'Ad, they were destroyed by a furious Wind, exceedingly violent; 6 He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down! 7 So do you see any survivor among them? 8 Then came the Pharaoh, and those before him whose habitations were overthrown while they were committing crimes. 9 They did not follow the Messenger of their Lord, and so He seized them with a severe grip. 10 Indeed when the water swelled up, We boarded you onto the ship. 11 That We might make it a remembrance for you, and the keen ear (person) may (hear and) understand it. 12 And when the trumpet is blown with a single blast, 13 And the earth and the mountains will be lifted up and crushed with a single crush. 14 And so, that which must come to pass will on that day have come to pass; 15 And the heaven will split asunder, for that day it will be frail. 16 The angels will stand on all its sides. And on that Day, eight (of them) will carry the Throne of your Lord above them. 17 On that day you shall be exposed, not one secret of yours concealed. 18 So whoever is given his book in his right hand he will say, “Take, read my account!” 19 Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account." 20 And so he will find himself in a happy state of life, 21 in a lofty Garden 22 The Fruits whereof (will hang in bunches) low and near. 23 Eat and drink at ease for that which you have sent on before you in days past! 24 But, he who is given his book in his left hand will say: 'Woe to me, would that my book had not been given to me! 25 and not known my reckoning! 26 "I wish, would that it had been my end (death)! 27 My wealth has not availed me, 28 Gone from me is my authority." 29 (The stern command will say): "Seize ye him, and bind ye him, 30 and then let him enter Hell. 31 And then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits. 32 Surely he did not believe in Allah, the Great, 33 nor were they concerned with feeding the destitute. 34 Wherefore for him here this Day there is no friend. 35 Nor food other than suppuration (filth) 36 which none but the sinners eat!" 37

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
