So by oath of the things you see. 38 And that which you do not see. 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
