BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
