The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O, you, wrapped in your cloak, 1 Rise up and warn! 2 And your Lord do magnify, 3 And thine raiment purify. 4 And uncleanliness avoid 5 Nor expect, in giving, any increase (for thyself)! 6 And for the sake of your Lord, be patient. 7 So when the Trumpet will be blown. 8 that Day will be a hard and distressing Day. 9 For the infidels, not easy. 10 Leave him to Me whom I created alone, 11 And then granted him resources in abundance. 12 and children as [love's] witnesses, 13 And made life smooth and comfortable for him! 14 and who still greedily desires that I should bestow upon him more. 15 By no means! surely he offers opposition to Our communications. 16 I will cover him with arduous torment. 17 For lo! he did consider; then he planned - 18 (Self-)destroyed is he, how he planned! 19 Let him be destroyed. How he calculated! 20 Then he beheld, 21 Then he frowned and he scowled; 22 Then turned his back and waxed proud, 23 and said: 'This is no more than traced sorcery; 24 This is nothing but the word of a mortal!" 25 I shall surely roast him in Sakar; 26 And what will make you know exactly what Hell-fire is? 27 It leaves and spares no one and nothing. 28 It strips away the hide of man. 29 Over it are nineteen [angels]. 30 We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire. We have specified their number only as a trial for those who are bent on denying the truth, so that those who were given the Book might gain in certainty, and those who believe might increase in faith -- and so that neither those who have been given the Scripture nor the believers might have any doubts, and that those sick at heart and those who deny the truth might ask, "What does God mean by this parable?" In this way, God lets go astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. And none knows the forces of your Lord but He. This is but a Reminder for man. 31

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
