The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Was there a period of time when man was not even worthy of a mention? 1 Verily, it is We who have created man out of a drop of sperm intermingled, so that We might try him [in his later life]: and therefore We made him a being endowed with hearing and sight. 2 Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful. 3 Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze. 4 But the righteous shall drink of a goblet mixed with camphor; 5 From a spring of which the votaries of God will drink and make it flow in abundance. 6 They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread. 7 they give food, despite their love for it, to the poor and orphans and captives, 8 (Saying): We feed you, for the sake of Allah only. We wish for no reward nor thanks from you; 9 Verily we dread from our Lord a Day grim and distressful. 10 So Allah saved them from the evil of that Day, and gave them Nadratan (a light of beauty) and joy. 11 And shall recompense them for that which they patiently bare with a Garden and silken garment. 12 [They will be] reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any [burning] sun or [freezing] cold. 13 Near them shall be its shades with its clusters hung gently down, 14 They will be served with silver dishes and crystal clear goblets. 15 And crystal clear bottles of silver, of which they will determine the measure themselves. 16 And they shall be made to drink therein a cup the admixture of which shall be ginger, 17 [From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel. 18 ۞ There wait on them immortal youths, whom, when thou seest, thou wouldst take for scattered pearls. 19 When you see them, you see bliss, and a great Kingdom. 20 They [i.e., the virtuous] shall be attired in garments of fine green silk and rich brocade and will be adorned with bracelets of silver. Their Lord will give them a pure wine to drink. 21 'See, this is your recompense, your striving is thanked' 22

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
