What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
