The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 and when the mountains are made to vanish, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 And when the wild animals are made to go forth, 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 And when souls are united, 7 And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 The curtain drawn back from the skies, 11 And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. 12 and Paradise is brought near, 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede, 15 The planets withdrawing into themselves, 16 by the night when it approaches 17 and brightening morning, 18 Verily, this is the Word (this Quran brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 (O people of Makkah), your companion is not mad; 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 So whither do you stray? 26 This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind 27 to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Lord of the Universe, so wills it [to show you that way]. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
