The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
