Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
